DISCUSSION:
If we narrowed down the totality of man's problems on a daily basis, it will all come down to this; MAKING THE RIGHT DECISIONS. Our mistakes in life; wrong decisions with terrible consequences; confusion; depressions; etc. If only we could be absolutely sure of the outcomes of each of our decisions, we would eliminate 90 percent of our errors in life. That's like knowing and seeing our futures before we take a step. If we could always access divine counsel and always know for sure the outcome of our every step, then we would live a life of peace and prosperity continually. So, is this possible? The bible seems to say 'yes, it is possible'. It says the counsel we need for every situation is right there deep in our hearts (spirit), like deep waters. Therefore, it cannot be accessed by the casual diver. You have to be a deep diver to access the treasures of deep waters. A deep diver is that man of understanding (Hebrew: biynah). This describes a man of contemplations, meditation and wisdom; a spiritual man. Since God's counsel lies within your spirit, it'll take being spiritual to draw out the counsel you need for every situation. Prov 20:27; "The spirit of man is the candle of the LORD, searching all the inward parts of the belly." Your spirit is the candle God has given to you to search out His counsel on the inside of you. Whatever you face in life, whatever trouble you're in, the instruction you need to come out of it isn't on the outside but on your inside. If you would pray in the spirit (1Corinthians 14:15), and meditate on God's word, you will access the counsel of God in your deep waters. Hallelujah! You need to understand that God's word is His counsel hidden deep within you. Ps.119:24; "Thy testimonies (words) also are my delight and my counsellors." Therefore, if you would read/listen to God's word always, and meditate on it day and night, you would make it easy for yourself to access divine counsel in your spirit at all times. In this way, you will always make your way prosperous, and always enjoy good success (Joshua 1:8). Shalom Uvracha!
