It is foolish to overestimate yourself or have an inflated opinion of yourself. Calm down sir/ma, you're not the star of this movie of life; Jesus is! Don't let social media appearances deceive you into thinking you're the latest solution to world peace 😂. Truly successful people are usually less noisy than unsuccessful people who pretend to be the most successful thing alive. While children of God are impacting lives all over the world without making noise about their personal wealth or insisting on receiving recognition, some others think the world should bow at their feet because they called out somebody's phone number by a gift of the Spirit. Uncle/aunty, calm down! Get busy doing the work God has given you and desist from seeking honor from men. Some insist on honor but have no results, while others are making great impact while running away from the limelight, yet they continue to attract honour. Read this and learn wisdom; Prov12:9; "He that is despised, and hath a servant, is better than he that honoureth himself, and lacketh bread." Therefore, be successful in pursuing your life's assignment and stop worrying about whether men will honor you or despise you. Prov13:7; "One man pretends to be rich, yet has nothing; another pretends to be poor, yet has great wealth."NIV. Why pretend to be successful when you can truly be successful? The energy used in pretending should be channeled into becoming. While some are pretending to have a happy marriage, you should spend your energy in creating a happy marriage. While others are pretending to be somebody, you should focus your energy on being all that God has called you to be. Don't let anyone put you under unnecessary pressure. Don't run at anyone's pace, run at the Spirit's pace. Don't try to impress anyone. Calm down, and let the Holy Spirit make you. Shalom Uvracha!
