“For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.”
Rom.8.18
Discussion
There are repercussions for doing wrong or committing a crime. A believer should never be involved in such wrongdoings (1Pet.2.20). But, when we suffer for doing the right thing, God is pleased with us. We never lose when we suffer for Christ's sake. Rather, we gain eternal rewards. There is unfathomable glory awaiting all who suffer for righteousness. In fact, the bible repeatedly says that our present sufferings are incomparable to the Glory awaiting us. 2Cor.4.17; "For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;" Hallelujah! No matter what you've been through for Christ’s sake, it's called 'light affliction' and it says in Rom.8.18 that our present sufferings are not worthy to compare with the glory that will be revealed in the church of Jesus. When you understand this and remain conscious of it, no amount of suffering will be able to put you down or blow your lights out. You'll keep shining the light of Christ everywhere you go. Burning like a flaming star that you are. Be encouraged today. An incomparable glory awaits you. It's not cars, houses, money, gold or diamonds. It's exceedingly greater than all these. It's nothing like what anyone in this world has ever seen or had. It's beyond the wealth of Solomon or the political power of Nebuchadnezzar. God, who promised to save mankind by the resurrection of Jesus from the dead, never failed in keeping that promise. He is faithful also to keep His promise of eternal rewards for us all who keep His word and suffer for Christ’s sake. Like Paul said; 2Tim.4.7-8; "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing." And also 1Pet.1.4-6; "For God has reserved a priceless inheritance for his children. It is kept in heaven for you, pure and undefiled, beyond the reach of change and decay. And God, in his mighty power, will protect you until you receive this salvation, because you are trusting him. It will be revealed on the last day for all to see. So be truly glad! There is wonderful joy ahead, even though it is necessary for you to endure many trials for a while."NLT. Let this glorious hope strengthen you today. Shalom Uvracha!

Phil.3.21 — Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.
