DISCUSSION:
Jesus made this remarkable statement and revealed a major eternal truth concerning our union with Him; "…the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:" So, Jesus gave us His glory. Wow! Hallelujah! I do not have any personal glory anymore. You do not have any personal glory anymore. In Christ, you have received Christ's glory. What is this glory? "that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me." (John 17:22-23). This is the glory of Christ you have received from Him. It's called oneness with God. 1Cor6:17; "But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit." How did we receive this glory? Rom6:4; "Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life." So, Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father. Who is this glory of the Father? Rom8:11; "But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you." The Spirit of God was the glory of the Father who raised Jesus from the dead. This same Spirit now dwells in you. He has made you one Spirit with the Father. He has become your glory. Hallelujah! Who then can cover your glory? What then is that insane devil that can imagine to bury your glory. Do you not understand that the Spirit of God is your glory and can never be covered. All you have to do now is arise and shine this glory. Don't weep and wail; arise and shine! Isa.60.1-2; "Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee." This is why Jesus says you are the light of the world. You're not a struggling candle, No! You're a blazingly burning and brutally shining light. Your fire melts devils and consumes witches. Voodoos and jujus are burnt to ashes in the presence of the glory on the inside of you. Come on, stop running from things your glory can burn. Stop praying in fear concerning things you're empowered to uproot with one word. The glory of God...the almighty Holy Spirit, dwells inside of you. Therefore, live in victory everyday.
