WHAT DO YOU KNOW?

The great things of the kingdom are not experienced automatically. What you know, directly influences your beliefs, expectations, actions and experiences in life. Therefore, there's no reality outside of your knowledge. Since this is true, you must take what you know very seriously. All you are suffering in life could just be as a result of what you know. Can you imagine being in all kinds of bondage because you know the wrong things without even being aware that the things you know are the wrong things. The apostle John wrote to a group of believers who already had eternal life, yet he was writing to get them to know that they had eternal life. 1John.5.13; "These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life..." Thus, it is possible to have a good thing and not know that you have it. Possession of eternal life is no guarantee of enjoying the benefits of eternal life. Knowledge is the key to enjoying what you have. Notice the word 'know' or 'knowledge' in the following scriptures; Rom 8:28; "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." 1Cor.2.12; "Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God." John.8.32; "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." 1John.5.15; "And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him." From deliverance, to answered prayers, to our confidence in times of difficulty, to enjoying our rights in Christ...all of it depends on what we know. Therefore, give yourself to knowing the truth. God's word is the truth, the only truth, and nothing but the truth. Shalom Uvracha!
